"I think for me the important aspect to this recording is it's difference compared to most of my recent solo output which is 100% improvised.
These are all multi-tracked and yes there is improvisation in there, but in most cases there was always a sketch or loose composition in mind when recording. This is also the 31st physical release in my discography but only the 2nd of solo recordings...the last of which was way back in 2003 or something!

If anything I was trying to present a rough sketch of my sound world, being as simple & direct as I could with the instruments that surround me & play a part in my daily life today & always."
